No, De Morgan House is closed on bank holidays.
Food and drink must be purchased via the venue. See our catering page for more information and our current seasonal menu. If you are wanting something bespoke, let us know and we’ll send you a proposal tailored to your request.
Yes, in partnership with our caterers, we endeavour to cater to all dietary requirements and allergies. We provide an equal split of meat, fish, vegan, and vegetarian options and can cater to dietary requirements outside of these options on request.
Yes, we can host a reception following a conference or event. Contact us for more information on receptions and canape menus.

For most bookings we do not require a deposit, however we may request a deposit for special bookings.
We do not sell alcohol; however, we do allow guests to BYOB. This must be prearranged with the venue and a corkage fee OF £4 + VAT per bottle is charged.
Weekend bookings are dependent on staff availability and the size of the booking. On weekends we require a minimum spend of £1,000 + VAT per day on room hire and AV equipment. Weekend catering also requires a minimum spend and delivery charge.
Each room is equipped with a projector and screen which can be connected to a laptop with an HDMI or USB-C cable. If you require a hybrid meeting set-up or would prefer to use our PC, please let us know beforehand if your booking requires this.
We invoice post-event with our bank details for bank transfer, however we can also set up a payment link for online payment and have an EFTPOS machine on site.
Guest access to De Morgan House is via the 58 Russell Square entrance. The ‘Meetings/Events’ option on the intercom can be used to gain entrance inside if the main door is locked. More information on accessibility can be found in our Accessibility Guide.
We are not (yet) fully wheelchair accessible and have six external steps into the building and three internal steps on the ground floor leading the to lift the goes down to the conference suite. We have a stair climber available to help wheelchair users in and out of the building, but this does require wheelchair users to get out of their own chair and into ours. We are in the process of upgrading our accessibility and will have full access to the conference suite available soon!
Yes, we offer a DDR package for bookings in our Hardy room. Contact us to learn more about our rates.
We will always provide a quiet space for any delegates that need a prayer space. The dedicated space may change day to day, so please let us know if you need one.
De Morgan House is open 8:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday. Occasionally we operate outside of these hours for evening and weekend bookings.
An additional charge of £25 + VAT per hour is added to bookings that run past 5:30pm. This must be agreed upon with the venue before the booking date, as we cannot guarantee booking extensions outside of operating hours on the day.
If a rail strike is planned on your event date, we will reschedule the booking to another date at no extra charge. More information on our cancellation policy can be found in section 4 our Terms & Conditions.
Free Wi-Fi is included with room hire. Use of AV equipment, flipcharts and catering are an additional cost. See our rooms for the amenities we offer with each booking.
